A library allows you to take over more cities by spending resources.

What is the "knowledge rate"?
The knowledge rate in the library effects how much your resources effect your "knowledge". Knowledge is needed to control more cities.
Ex: 10% Knowledge rate means 1000 resources = 100 resources to knowledge.

How do I capture a town?
My raising your control points by one, you may then control an extra town. Send an army to a city, with a hero. Using the hero (split the army into groups so you can protect the hero, be sure to give the hero troops too!!) select the castle and select "capture". This process takes 24 hours. [more]

Why do I have to spend resources to capture a new town?
Spending resources, an in game currency everyone has access to, allows you to slowly control more cities. Because it takes resources it is recommended to only increase your knowledge when you have the resources to do so, and the army to protect your cities.

I did not get the points from capturing the city, HELP!
Your score only goes up for the work you put in spending resources, you will not gain the points from other players towns.

City Trading

What is a marketplace?
The marketplace allows you to trade resources between players, exchange resources between your towns, and exchange with the black market.

How do I trade between my cities?
By going to the "Supply" tab in the marketplace you can select a city, select the amount of resources, and have the resources sent to your current town. (The button on the left costs GOLD and instantly sends your resources between the two towns) [more]

Diplomacy

Why is my vassal not giving me our contracted mercenary points?

It could be that the vassal needs to upgrade their obelisk, or it could be the mercenary points distribution system:

1) Maximal amount of points to be transferred by single diplomatic contract will be set to 10000 points.

2) Transfer limit for a vassal will depend on number of owned cities/mercenary camps and on the status of the lord.

  • If a lord is a standalone player - transfer limit per city/camp will be equal to 500 points
  • If a lord is a member of an order - transfer limit per city/camp will be equal to 650 points
  • If a lord is a master of an order - transfer limit per city/camp will be equal to 750 points

As for example, if a vassal has a total 10 (cities + camps), he can pay 5000 mercenary points to his lord, who is not a member/master of any order.

Heroes

What is a hero? A hero is a leader of your army, which will strengthen the troops it is with.

What are their skills and how do I raise them?
A heroes skills effect the army the hero is with, making your army stronger. You raise them in the castle with Skill points you receive from leveling.

How does the hero level?
By fighting and killing enemies you will gain experience and levels. Adventure huts are used to level up your hero.

What happens when my hero dies?
When your hero dies you have to wait a few minutes before you can revive the hero. You can revive a hero in the Castle or a Temple. Heroes revived in the castle lose any experience gained towards their next level. Heroes revived in the Temple will not lose this experience, but there is a cost, in gold.

Where do I buy a hero?
In the Tavern you are able to buy new heroes for Gold.

I have a new hero, do I have to pay for it?
More than likely, the hero is free. You can check if it is free by checking the hero in the castle. When it dies it is no longer free.

How do exchange my paid hero for my free hero?
"I have a paid hero that I want to keep, instead of my free hero. How do I do this?"
Transfer all artifacts you wish to keep.
