Just a few days to go until Easter, the wonderful spring holiday that brings hope, forgiveness, goodness and most important - love.
Easter is a major holiday and throughout the course of time it still hasn't lost its purpose and is widely and joyfully celebrated by people all around the world.

And to celebrate this we've prepared for you special events, games and of course great discounts – all this available for the 2 whole weeks, from 16th to 30th of April!

EASTER EGG BATTLE AND GIFTS

Be prepared! Special holiday Palm Tree and Easter Egg Battle will be ready for you on the 16th of April, so gather the ammunition and don't forget to look under the Palm Tree each day in order to receive special Easter holiday gift!

How to play Easter Egg battle?
To participate in the battle send an invite to your opponent: go to his profile and press the “Invite to battle” button. In order for battle to commence both you and your opponent have to choose the eggs in the battle window. You can find eggs in quest locations as a drop, buy in game shop or in an auction. You can also improve the eggs in blacksmith. The higher the level of an egg the more chances of winning you have!



After all conditions are met the battle will be resolved automatically and all the results will be shown in “Battles” tab in the Palm tree menu. The victor will receive a kingdom event with reward.

We are also glad to inform you that we continue our yearly tradition of having a contest for best Easter Egg Battle fighter.

Top 10 players on each server will receive special prizes at the end of the contest.

There will be two categories: most battles played and most battles won. Most battles won category will have higher priority.

PRIZES:

1st place: + 1 city control point, Lost city*, new free level 40 hero, big artifact set, 500 diamonds and +1 Order skill of players' choice**.

2nd place: +1 mercenary location control point, new free level 40 hero, normal artifact set, 300 diamonds, +1 Order skill of players' choice**.

3d place: +1 mercenary location control point, new free level 40 hero, small artifact set, 100 diamonds,+1 Order skill of players' choice**.

4-5 places: 5th level Artifact Storage, 3rd level Strongbox building, artifact set, 50 diamonds, free level 24 hero.

6-10 places: 5th level Artifact Storage, artifact set, 25 diamonds, free level 24 hero.

Additionally: Absolute winner among all servers in each of categories (most battle played and most battles won) will receive +1 city control points.

In case same player is a winner in both categories, only one prize applies (most battles won).

Also players that played more than 100 000 battles, but didn't win contest among all servers, will receive + 1 city control point.

* City will be placed on the coordinates of player's choice.

** One order can have only 1 such prize. If a player without order wins the prize he can either become a member of an order within the next 14 days and claim the prize or receive an alternative prize of 350 diamonds.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! Please note that after previous New Year event a restriction was made:
“To avoid great differences between players and unfair competition, 1100AD team introduces new limitation: one player during the year may obtain no more than 2 city control points as prizes for playing mini games (this year they are egg battle, paper lumps battle, pumpkin battle). Today winners with 3 CCP are lucky exclusions from this rule. Players may participate in those battles but are not eligible for receiving grand prix.”

This means that players Saint_Preux (Golden Horde), Chadess (Holy Grail Search), klopGG (Beta), HamburgHerz (Holy Grail Search), Romann71 (Holy Grail Search), Jeglov (Britannia) will not be able to receive main prize (City control point) in Easter Egg Battle both in Top-10 competition and competition among all servers.


NEW HEROES

Two totally new heroes have arrived to our game shop – Milady Anna and Czech Knight



You can purchase these new 30 level heroes in game shop for 70 diamonds together with previous holiday heroes - Catholic Bishop level 24 and Orthodox Priest level 24 just for 55 diamonds.



We also introduce a new game feature “Greeting Card” - now each player making a gift to his friend can also send a greeting card!

LOTTERY AND CHARITY

Within the Palm Tree players will be able to take part in Easter lottery with a good chance of winning great gifts, the main prize being +3% to your Library deposit (regardless of your current investment amount)!

Easter is a heartwarming holiday that evokes goodness and love, so let us share some of these feelings with those who really need it! During this time 20% of all funds received from the lottery will be donated to one or several of Riga children's homes! How to play in lottery?
Go to Palm tree and click on “Lottery” tab. Purchase ticket, it's price is 25 gold. You will see a field with 3x3 cells, open any 3 cells you like. The sum of your points will determine your prize: soldiers, heroes, artifacts, buildings, tokens, diamonds and even gold. It”s time to test your luck!

While playing the lottery you will be filling the bonus bar. When the bar reaches maximum you will receive a grand prize: +3% to your Library deposit (regardless of your current investment amount). After receiving your prize the bar needs to be filled anew.
Notice: all prizes arrive as kingdom events.

PLEASANT BONUSES

We are also happy to announce some pleasant bonuses that are here to stay for good!

1) When purchasing gold each player will start gaining bonus points, this can be seen in gold tab or in daily lottery window:



After a specific amount of points is gathered a player will receive some pleasant and useful gifts. The current rank and point amount is visible when you point a mouse on Roman numerals: bronze (I, II, III, IV, V), silver, gold and platinum.
Important: bonus gold doesn't bring bonus points.

2) Building “Strongbox” has now additional level, when reaching this level, the building can store 30 000 resources!
Notice: leveling up the building costs 50 gold.

3) Purchasing gold from free traders is now more profitable. In the marketplace's tab “Supply” the price of resource purchase from nearest settlements is lowered:
10x – now costs 15 gold (instead of 30)
20х – now costs 35 gold ( instead of 70)
10х+20х – now costs 45 gold (instead of 90)
Amount of purchases is increased! Now you can use one of the mentioned services up to 3 times in 24h!

4) “Dock” building now provides its owner naval points:
1 lvl Dock  - 4 sea points
2 lvl Dock  - 8 sea points
3 lvl Dock  - 12 sea points
4 lvl Dock  - 16 sea points
5 lvl Dock  - 20 sea points
So build up your fleet and heed the call of the blue seas!


NEW SOLDIERS

Holidays attract new soldiers to cities. You have a rare possibility to strengthen your cities with new soldiers: almogavars and elite archers.

Almogavars – fierce soldiers with exceptional discipline. Such warriors are one of the few who can withstand an attack of enemy heavy cavalry. Under a competent commander almogavars can turn the tide of any battle.

Elite archers have already proved their worth during New Year holidays. You can acquire these troops in different ways – buy in an auction, exchange for coins, buy in game shop, win in daily lottery or win in holiday lottery!




Important: each player can have not more than X almogavars.
