According to Latvian folk beliefs and ancient traditions, by Midsummer (Jāņi) the homestead should be tidy and the fields well tended. It was believed that a diligent housewife would have weeded the garden and flower beds before the summer solstice, as only a well-kept farmstead could attract blessings, prosperity, and fertility.
People also believed that the flowers of a hardworking mistress bloomed more abundantly and beautifully, bringing good fortune and abundance to the household.

As Jāņi approached, women and young maidens went into the meadows to gather medicinal herbs, believing that nature’s power was at its strongest during the solstice.
They collected yarrow, St. John’s wort, meadowsweet, bedstraw, and many other plants, which were dried and stored for use throughout the winter. Young women wove wreaths from meadow flowers and herbs to bring health, fertility, and good luck.

By following these ancient traditions, 1100AD also wishes to remember and preserve the spirit of this cultural heritage, celebrating blooming gardens, rich meadows, and good health throughout the year!

In honor of this summer time - from June 04 to June 18 we are announcing an cross-server competition!

Mini-Game "Match Three":

Align 3, 4, or 5 identical elements to earn points. Bomb combos give extra bonuses. The TOP-10 players and Orders will receive prizes.

The top 3 players from the "Match-three" leaderboard will receive special prizes, including a special city with special buildings. However, each player can receive only one prize in the following categories:
- Best mini-game player;
- Best decorator;
- Best combination collector;
- Most efficient player;
- Fire master.

After awarding the 15 players who took the prize places in the above-mentioned categories, this time we will also reward 25 more players from the "Best mini-game player" leaderboard* who showed excellent results but did not make it to the top 3.

*Each player receives only one prize in one category.

**In the match-three game, there are grass blocks that can only be removed with a special item - a scythe.
