The summer solstice day - Ligo, has a truly thousand-year history, it is an ancient pagan Latvian holiday. Although the summer solstice is common and other nations celebrate it, in Latvia on the night of June 23-24, people praised the fertility god Janis. This day was considered a magical preparation for future harvesting. In Latvia, traditionally, Name Day is celebrated almost more than a birthday. On June 23, name Liga celebrates its name day, and on June 24 - Janis. Liga’s day was dedicated to collecting herbs and was called Grass Day.


The 1100AD team sincerely congratulates all the players on the upcoming Holiday and wishes that peace, love and prosperity reign in your families and hearts.

FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE
In all the cities where there is a free square of sand or grass, a special, festive tree will appear - Oak. Once in a while the Oak tree lights up with colorful ribbons and brings its owner a gift. Visit your oak regularly and have fun finding the gifts! Among the gifts can be found - resources, artifacts, unique soldiers, gold and diamonds.


HOLIDAY DUNGEON
In the tree, you can also take part in a dangerous descent into a dark dungeon inhabited by terrible monsters. The path, although very dangerous, is filled with decent prizes. One only needs to remember that a descent requires a strong hero of at least 25k attack and life points!


PLAYING ALL TOGETHER

Take a part in the mini-game "Match three" and try your luck in the battle among the best!
The rules of the game are very simple:
It is necessary to collect in a row or column of 3, 4 or 5 identical elements. Depending on the number of collected items, the player receives points. Accumulate game points and get super prizes! The more games are played, the more valuable prizes you can get.
The combination of 2 bombs gives a special amount of points.

For each player and each Order, there are statistics on the number of points collected and at the end of the holidays the TOP-10 best players and TOP-10 best Orders on each server will receive valuable prizes.

Additionally, we are announcing a mid-server contest!
The top 3 players from Match three TOPs will receive special prizes,including a special city with special buildings, however each player can receive only one prize in each category:
- The best player in the mini-game;
- The best decorator;
- the best collector of combinations;
- The best player in effectiveness;

MINI GAME - FESTIVE TABLE
Mini-game "Festive table" - it's time to prepare for the holiday and set the table for the guests! To complete the task, you need to collect special artifacts that can be obtained for the exploration in temporary locations. The artifacts need to be inserted into the appropriate slots on the festive table. When all parts are in their places, the player receives the specified reward. List of rewards can be shuffled for gold.


For each player, statistics are kept about how many festive tables have been laid. At the end of the holidays, the TOP 10 best players will get a prize. Your place in the top you can see in the TOP statistics.

In the Mini game "festive table" there is also a mid-server competition!
TOP-20 best players among all servers that will gain the most points in the mini-game will receive valuable prizes.

ATTENTION! Found parts of the table can no longer be sold or transferred!


NEW TEMPORARY SOLDIERS

At the time of the celebration, old acquaintances will appear in the game - the Ranger and the Horse Ranger. A soldier can be obtained in a mini-game, purchased, or received as a gift. The soldiers will last until September, after which they will automatically retire.



GROWING UP - ADDING NEW LEVELS TO BUILDINGS AND LOCATIONS

Mercenary locations and some draft buildings received additional levels of development. This requires vip coins - black, as well as two new artifacts - red and green vip coins.


SUMMER COLLECTION

Ligo is called not only Green Day - Zaļā diena (which is probably a distortion from the similarly sounding Grass Day), but also Grass Day (Zāļu diena). It is believed that herbs collected at the solstice have magical healing powers. By Janis's day, houses are decorated with branches of birch, oak and mountain ash, fern, chamomile and bentgrass. At the door you can attach nettles and thistles so that evil cannot come inside.

And we suggest you to collect a collection of summer meadow herbs that have bloomed in all fields and meadows, and get valuable prizes!

Now for the details!
In all temporary locations for research and for completing special quests, you can get a Simple collector chest. You can also purchase a Premium Collection Chest. It is important to know that simple collectible chests, unlike premium ones, cannot be transferred to another player.

These herbs are not simple - collected before Ligo, they have a special power!

By collecting them, you fill out a special album.

If you do not have enough herbs to complete the collection, you can create them.
To do this, grind their essence through the menu. Do not be afraid to rub the herbs, once it falls out, it will remain in the collection, only repeated herbs can be grinded!



Having rubbed the grass, we go into the Collider section and begin to try your luck: you can choose the level of grass to be created, and also, paying extra gold, increase the chance of a rarer occurrence.

You can switch the type of grass being created or try to create this level again.
If you need grass, which is definitely not in your collection yet, use the runes that can be found by exploring some locations.


Each level of the collection has its own rune. Be careful!

But remember: the amount of runes used to create herbs is limited to 10, so use them wisely to create the ones you need.
If during the creation, the creation was unsuccessful, then the rune, gold and essence will be spent, but the attempt will not be counted.

Special prize for passing - the opportunity to use the crystal mine until the new collection.



Each player who has assembled the collection can build the Crystal Mine (if the player accepted an event with permission to build this location).
It is also built through an outpost. Building a location requires 1 free resource location possession point (for this, the current limit of 75 will be increased to 76).
Nothing can be built inside the mine except for the artifact storage, which is necessary for leveling up the mine. Buildings from other objects cannot be moved to the mine, nor can the landscape be changed.
Mine has 15 levels of development. Each level upgrades exclusively by using VIP drafts - black, red and green. And every 24 hours, the mine brings a bonus that you can collect, in the form of precious stones, and the higher the level of the mine, the bigger and the more expensive stones it gives.

Unfortunately, mine has a life limit of 90 days. After the timer expires, the mine disappears.
A mine cannot be captured and closed into contour.


SUMMER ARTIFACTS
Artifacts appeared in the game: fern flower, Ligo basket, strawberry basket, oak wreath, cherry porter, dark beer, simple and premium collection chests, as well as three types of runes. Such artifacts can be obtained for location explorations. The best players who collect the largest number of Ligo artifacts will receive valuable prizes at the end of the holiday!
