In medieval times, Christmas Eve marked the beginning of the Twelve Days of Christmas and was observed with deep religious devotion.
People attended long candlelit church services, including midnight Mass, to celebrate the birth of Christ.
Homes were decorated with evergreens such as holly and ivy, believed to symbolize eternal life and offer protection. Feasting began on Christmas Eve after periods of fasting, with simple but festive meals shared among families and communities.
Storytelling, carols, and local customs helped pass the long winter night in a spirit of reverence and anticipation.

HOLIDAY ATMOSPHERE
In all cities with a free tile of sand or grass, a special festive tree — Christmas Tree — will appear.
Occasionally, the Tree lights up with colorful lights and rewards its owner with a gift.
Visit your tree regularly and enjoy the treasures found!
Among the gifts, you may find resources, artifacts, unique soldiers, gold, and diamonds.
Additionally, the Tree offers festive crafting options.


NEW ROYAL REGALIA: Crown of Afonso Henriques

By tradition, each New Year is welcomed with newly forged royal regalia to strengthen and empower our kingdom,
and this year we present a remarkable set.: the Crown of Afonso Henriques and the jewelry of Mafalda of Savoy.

Afonso I, known as Afonso Henriques, was the first King of Portugal and ruled from the mid-12th century, leading the county to independence from the Kingdom of León.
After the legendary Battle of Ourique in 1139, he proclaimed himself king, and Portugal’s sovereignty was later recognized through the Treaty of Zamora in 1143. Afonso I used to wear a long mantle or cloak, usually in dark or rich colors (blue, red, or purple), fastened at the shoulder, symbolizing kingship and authority.
Afonso expanded Portuguese territory southward during the Reconquista, strengthening the young kingdom through warfare and alliances with the Church.
In 1146, he married Mafalda of Savoy, a noblewoman whose lineage helped secure diplomatic ties with powerful European houses. Mafalda played an important role as queen consort and mother, supporting dynastic stability.
Together, they had several children, including Sancho I, who succeeded Afonso as king, ensuring the continuation of Portugal’s independence.

The new set, including the crown and ornaments, symbolizes the strength, power, and wisdom of rulers who have forever etched their names into history.
With the crown, you will not only gain 19 city control points but also enhance the Winter Residence, Clan Castle levels, and the Magdeburg Column of Law.


DUNGEON OF THE FROZEN REALM IN THE FESTIVE TREE
Inside the festive tree, you can find a special dungeon. The dungeon consists of 10 levels, where it is slippery and cold — take care of your heroes and test your bravery!
Note: Heroes with less than 350k HP and damage are not recommended to descend deeper!


LOTTERY
The Christmas lottery is also available in the Tree. In the festive lottery, there is a window with 9 gifts, and you need to open 3 of them. Based on your total score, you will receive a Bronze, Silver, or Gold reward, including resources, soldiers, buildings, and other bonuses.
To play the lottery, you need a lottery ticket, which can be obtained by purchasing gold or by using the artifact "Christmas Tree." Each game costs 5000 lottery tickets.
By playing the lottery, you can also receive a special prize — the Straw Mobile blueprint (2). To get this, you need to reach 100% in the progress bar.

Additionally, we will host a Christmas Lottery for purchases. The draw will feature 50 prizes and will take place across all servers.
The lottery will be active from 19.12.2024 to 08.01.2025 23:59:59.
Multiple appearances of the same nickname in the draw will increase the chances of winning.


NEW BUILDING

We present you a new building — Igreja de Santo Ildefonso
The Igreja de Santo Ildefonso is a historic church located near the center of Porto, Portugal.
Its origins date back to the early 18th century, though the present structure was largely completed in 1739.
The church is especially known for its exterior, which is richly decorated with blue-and-white azulejo tiles added in the 19th century.
Dedicated to Saint Ildefonsus of Toledo, it remains an important religious and cultural landmark of the city.

The frost season has begun, and this means that special temporary soldiers have joined our ranks once again: Flame-colored Archeress, North Hunter, North Swordsman and North Knight. They will serve until Valentine’s Day.

MINI-GAME: "Snowman"

The holiday is just around the corner, and it’s time to prepare for Christmas! To complete the task, you need to collect special artifacts, which can be obtained by exploring temporary locations.
The collected artifacts must be placed in their respective slots on the game board. Once all the pieces are in place, the player receives the indicated reward. The reward list can be changed for gold.

Each player has a record of how many costumes have been completed. At the end of the holiday season, the TOP 10 best players will receive prizes. You can track your position in the statistics of the TOP players.

The TOP 25 best players across all servers who score the most points in the mini-game will also receive valuable prizes.

**Reminder to enter the TOP 25:**
To determine the winners in the inter-server competition, a special coefficient will be applied:
The number of artifacts found by the player must exceed the number of completed boards multiplied by 6.
This formula ensures that players who truly put effort into collecting will receive a worthy prize, while those who took shortcuts will remain outside the TOP.


NEW YEAR COLLECTION
In all temporary locations for research and for completing special quests, you can get a Simple Collectible Chest. You can also purchase a Premium Collectible Chest. It is important to know that simple collectible chests, unlike premium ones, cannot be transferred to another player.

You need to open chests in a special "Collection" tab.

The chests contain 2 Christmas toys and a nice bonus in the form of gold, diamonds and other bonuses pleasant to the players heart.

These toys are not simple, but from the new collection that hangs on our Christmas tree.
There are 5 levels of toys in total.
By collecting toys, you fill out a special album.

If you do not have enough toys to complete the collection, you can create them.
To do this, you need to break the toys into essence, through the menu. Do not be afraid to break toys, once dropped out, the toy will remain in the collection, only repeated toys can be crushed!

Having crushed the toys, go to the Collider section and start trying your luck: you can choose the level of the toy to create, and by paying extra gold, increase the chance of a rarer toy falling out.

Collecting toys through the collider, however, may fail.

You can switch the type of toy you create or try to create this level again.


If you need an ingredient that is definitely not in your collection yet, use greeting cards, which can be found for exploring some locations.

Each level of the collection has its own rune and its own ingredient. Be careful!

But remember: the number of gingerbread tree cookies you can use to create ingredients is limited to 14, so use them wisely to create the most needed.
If during creation, creation was unsuccessful, then the rune, gold and essence will be spent, but the attempt will not be counted.

When the album is full, you will receive the prize specified in the Information tab.

For each player, statistics are kept on the assembling of the collection so that players can see the progress of its filling.
Collection assembling is available until 08/01/2026. Upon completion, all chests, both simple and premium, will be withdrawn with compensation.

MINI-GAME: MATCH-3!
Take part in the Match-3 mini-game! From time to time, players will receive free moves, and additional moves can be purchased for gold.

Rules of the game:
The objective is simple: match 3, 4, or 5 identical elements in a row or column. Depending on the number of elements matched, you will earn points. Obstacles in the form of blocks may appear on the board, preventing movement. Blocks can be destroyed by combining two striped elements, two bombs, or by using a hammer. Some blocks are very strong and may require multiple attempts to break.

New Ice Tile Mechanic:
A new ice tile has been introduced! To clear it, you need to match 3-5 identical elements next to the ice. If the ice is not broken during a turn, a new ice tile will appear.

Earn Rewards:
Accumulate points and win fantastic prizes! The more games you play, the better the rewards.

**Leaderboard:**
Each player and each Order has a leaderboard tracking points. At the end of the holiday, the TOP-10 best players and TOP-10 best Orders* will receive valuable prizes. Win unique items for yourself and additional skill points for your Order!

Cross-Server Competition:
A cross-server competition will also be held!
The top 3 players from the leaderboard will receive special prizes, but each player can win only one prize in the following nominations:
- Best Match-3 Player
- Bomb Master
- Best Combo Collector
- Most Efficient Player
- Gambit Award

After the main winners are announced, 25 players who scored the most points in Match-3 but did not make it into the main leaderboards will also receive prizes.
