The brightest and merriest holiday approaches! 1100AD are inviting all the players to take a dive into the festive atmosphere, join the winter celebration and pass it with their families!

We have the specialties and campaigns for you by way of the season’s greetings:
THE WINTER IN THE AIR
There will be the wonderful Christmas Trees in all the towns!
The colourful sets will light up once every 12 hours to tell you that it is time for grabs. Make certain you check those trees regularly and enjoy the gifts you will find on them. Among the gifts will be resources, unique combat units, coin, gold and diamonds.
THE MINI-GAME
You can also play a mini-game in the Christmas Tree!
The rules are easy: arrange rows or columns of 3, 4 or 5 identical elements and get your scores depending on how many you have arranged each time. Accumulate those scores and get the super-prizes! The more games played, the more valuable the prizes will be. Anyone can try!
We are also starting a contest for the biggest number of mini-game scores. The top ten players will get their prizes at the end of all the holiday. You can see the list of the prizes in the rating section (the Chronicle).
THE NEW ARTEFACTS
We are offering you the two new artefacts:
1. The Crown of Boleslav the First.
You have to craft this one in the Christmas Tree using the special ingredients including also the two new ones: the Gems and the Red Velvet
that you can find in the Lapland or buy at the in-game auction. The crown gives its owner +1 town control point and can only be used once.
2. The Banner of the Duchy of Normandy.
This one, too, can be crafted in the Christmas Tree. It gives its owner + 1 merc hut control point and can be used only once.
Note: you will have to accept the inbound town or merc hut control point in the kingdom event once you have crafted and used either of the above artefacts.
THE NEW HEROES
The new hero – the King of Wessex (or the 1st king of England) has joined the game.
You can get him by playing the mini-game, in the hot offers or just buy him at the in-game shop.
THE ANCIENT COINS
The festive building – the bonfire – will appear in all the towns where there is grass or sand traditionally.
It needs to be explored to find an ancient coin.
The ancient coins can be exchanged for the interesting items in the Christmas Tree. Again, there will be the top ten most agile players who will get their prizes at the end of the holiday. You can always check your position and the list of the prizes in the rating section.
The best player who wins the 1st place in the TOP list can get the top prize - + 1 city control point!
We shall also award the 3 best players on every server by giving them the opportunity to choose +1 level to one of the main Order skills (the players will have to contact the Support for the prizes).
The Contest Rules:
1. The player may ONLY BE THE TOP-1 WINNER ONCE in any calendar year to get the main prize at the one and the same server.
This means that the players who are the TOP-1 in the ancient coin collection contest cannot get any more top prizes even if they land the 1st position in any other contest.
2. If several players happen to have collected the equal number of coins by when the contest is over and are all in the TOP-1, they will be downgraded to the 2nd place and nobody will be getting the top prize then.
3. Any one Order may only get 1 prize. The Order skill for the contest can be chosen from among the additional skills, too; still, the ultimate level of any Order skill may not exceed 30 (except library and vassal skill).
4. The Holiday Bonfires will disappear on 14 January.
THE ADVENTURE HUT – THE LAPLAND
The temporary adventure huts – Lapland – will begin to spawn in the valleys on every server.
The quests will produce various goodies like resources, diamonds, gold, units and new ingredients. Also, you can find the Antlers by killing the Lapland defenders and then active the Antlers to get trebuchets.
DRUNKEN BRAWL
There is a new possibility to take part in drunken brawl in Tavern between heroеs.
Rules are simple:
You must select a hero for fight .Hero’s personal life and attack points are important. Available heroes are limited by total levels of attack and life equal to 50. Hero also can get bonuses for his skills. Probability to get bonuses depends of the level of his skill. Battle is held in automatic mode. If player wins, he receives points in nomination “Best player in drunken brawl”. For the place in the top list player get prizes.
Besides that, first 3 top orders will get order skill. One order can get only one prize. Skill cab be also chosen from additional skills. This skill can be added with skill you get from coins collection in bonfire, but final level of any order’s skill cannot exceed 30.
HOLIDAY AWARDS
At the top players list has been appeared new nomination - WINTER SOLDIER. Player who at the end of the winter will kill the most snow soldiers get great prizes!
Also some changes have been made at the top players list and some nominations got additional features, namely the prize! The best players in the New Year's Eve will get prizes, but from New Year nomination’s points will be counted from the very beginning.
HOLIDAY GIFTS

HOLIDAY DISCOUNTS
The following discounts will hold from 16:00 on 17.12.15 to 12:00 on 14.01.16:
1. The 90% discount for the Vassalage Order Skill upgrades.
2. The 70% discount for the Storage Order Skill upgrades.
3. The 40% discount for digging the underpasses.
4. The 40% discount for buying vassalage points and merc hut control points.
5. The 40% discount for creating a new town.
6. The 30% discount for building a contour in the valley.
7. The 30% discount for building the merc huts of all kinds.
THE CHANGES
1. The time interval set for the ‘snow’ units previously has been deleted.
2. Player certain troop quantity limits were added.
