Dear Players!

Our holiday charitable campaign has come to an end now. We are thanking you all very much on behalf of the 1100AD Project for having taken part in this campaign – it is only because of you, our players, that another orphanage has become brighter and jollier!

This time, we went to the Vita orphanage where there are 36 children of various ages. Their warm welcome came as a nice surprise to us. The joyous and happy urchins ran out to meet us and help us carry the gifts to the orphanage’s sitting-room where the other merry kids were waiting.
The Vita orphanage has 3 groups of 12 children each: 3-12 years, 12-15 years and 15-18 years. And we tried to keep each group happy. We had spent a part of the money on two music centres, sleeping bags and goalposts. We had collected ten packages of goods and toys thanks to the effort that our employees had put in; neither had we forgotten about the 1100AD-themed colouring books and pencils from Rostislav and Anatoly. So, we are certain that each of charity kid will find something interesting and captivating among our gifts and will be able to go into something interesting, be it dancing and drawing for little children, countryside trips with night overs in tents and evening horror stories told around the fire for the older kids or football matches until dusk for the most active ones.

We are going to remember this meeting long! We had a great time and got our charges of energy; we were driving home full of emotions. The beaming smiles on the kids’ faces sparked by so many gifts only went to show crystal clearly that our and your good deeds do not go unnoticed or unvalued!

To cap it, we would like to say HUGE THANKS once again to the 1100AD players for such a wonderful opportunity to give the good to those who need it. BUT we are not going to stop at that because we have ahead of us another orphanage visit. We shall tell of it on the next occasion.
