The price of Wild Coins has (yesterday) just doubled and that in itself would not bother me if it were not for the fact that 1100ad only accepts wildtangent WildCoins as a form of payment for gold here in the US. Can someone tell me they are on this and its going to get fixed?

(moved to Help an Support, this is not a suggestion)
You might have to wait for an answer here, I doubt that any developer can address this soon. I personally have no idea, so I can't help out, sorry.
Really? That is blatant.
Again: Really?
It's only my personal opinion, but if I were you, I'd go ahead and write a ticket to support right away, suggesting that other payment options are installed.
Furthermore - if it's possible - I'd write to wildtangent asking if that increased prize is a mistake or what they really want to do. Unless of course there already is official confirmation from them to be found somewhere.

Response from Wild Coins:
Thank you for contacting WildTangent Customer Support. As you’ve noticed, we’ve recently changed many aspects of our service, including pricing changes for WildCoins. The current offering of WildCoins can be found here: http://www.wildtangent.com/WildCoins.
While we no longer offer large WildCoins Packs, you can still make in-game purchases using WildCoins. When you are logged in to your game, through the WildTangent Games App, you will see the option to select WildCoins as your preferred payment option. When making in-game purchases using WildCoins, we will automatically add the appropriate number of WildCoins to complete your purchase. You will see the total amount and cost on the purchase confirmation page. If you have a WildCoins balance, we take that into consideration when adding WildCoins.
I’m sorry that we no longer offer a WildCoins Pack that suited your needs. We continually make improvements to our services and offers and will take your experience into account when reviewing these recent changes.
If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

such a typical response of a greedy corporation --
translation -- we are sorry our greed interferes with your gold purchases but oh well - tough $hit !
translation - to suit our needs and our bottom line to our shareholders - tough $hit again !

The prices (in US dollars) to buy from the wildtangent website used to be an advantage, I'll go with the 22 000 pack for comparison. Buying that pack directly from 1100ad is around 280,00$ buying from wildtangent with the old prices varies from 220$ to 250$. With their new prices, it's now 437$ to pay for the same exact 22 000 gold pack. Something is wrong there and this has a direct impact on AmberGames. They need to talk with that partner because in no way we should pay 157$ more from them than from 1100ad directly.
For many wildtangent users, that means we will no longer buy wild coins ever unless they address this issue. The hey needs to adjust the price to get 1100ad gold and I think a direct intervention from AmberGames is needed to this point.

Just heard back from Wild Tangent today, see below:
They simply will not address the fact that the price has doubled. Instead they focus on the fact that you can buy the games cheaper now. There is no way other than Wild Tangent for people like me to purchase gold. Can Ambergames make the option to purchase gold through other means available to us?

It would probably help if you made it clear that you will not buy gold using the current option, because of the blatant price increase.
Furthermore, if you know a company or two, make specific suggestions which payment method you'd like to see.

Maybe their changes have a positive impact on the small games they sell for the coins, but here with 1100ad, it's a totally different thing. They haven't changed the price in wild coins for in game gold, but they have changed the price for wild coins which basically we pay double price for the 1100ad gold. I'm not sure they realize this aspect of their changes with prices but they have to quickly open their eyes unless they don't care.

1100AD + WildTangent = Winter miracle!
We got to know, that many players were upset with recent WildTangent changes in wildcoins pricing politics. And we decided it is a right time for a miracle! 1100AD PERMANENTLY lowers game gold/wildcoin exchange rates. To make the deal even better, 1100AD gives to all WildTangent players new snowman battle unit.
Believe in miracles and make them real!
Forever yours, 1100AD team.

That's a prompt (considering how difficult such problems can be) and appropriate response by Ambergames, in my opinion.
I'll close this topic soon if nobody voices any objections, since this problem seems to be solved with this.

Hey all, just a quick update to the wild coins scenario. I tried to buy them today at their new rate and discovered that you can only make a maximum of six consecutive purchases before it locks you out. So basically I can buy 240 Wild Coins. I'm not sure how long the lockout lasts but I gave it a few minutes and tried it again, still no luck. This sucks . If I want to move a city to a new valley (say like v36) It will take the time for the MT, and now, possibly a weeks worth of amassing wild coins for it to happen.

Wow, that's something new. Why would any company block you in such way from actually spending money on their products?! That doesn't seem like a wise move.
You should complain about that at WildTangent, imo.

Obviously, the thread won't be closed with this new problem.

I've been having the same exact problems, but I tought it was my credit card that was blocking the purchases after six times. So who's blocking it after 6 times, Wild Tangent, or the credit card.
If you're having the same issue, maybe it's Wild Tangent that placed a limit on how many times someone can buy Wild Coins in one day. But honestly, it doesn't makes any sense. I understand the credit card blocking it because, in some ways, 6 times in a row the same exact transaction might look suspicious but WT blocking, it's just, wierd, it's not like they have a limited amount of Wild Coins.

Well, I put in a ticket to Wild Tangent and got a response today:
So the issue is with Wild Tangent and they are working on it. This sucks.

It does. But them seeing the problem and working on it is a first step.
