Dear Players!
In today’s update we have added a new location to the game – the Livonian Castle! This location cannot be built using mark tower, but can only be captured. This location grants its owner several times more mercenary points than an ordinary one. A new game unit - Livonian Auxiliary, is available in the new mercenary location. range 4 with a hunger for cavalry! I'd say it's the first step toward a choice between range Vs. melee only armies... Sadly though, I do not like the concept of capture only for this concept unit. These camps will only go to the players who are most likely in the top 50 or 100. Then, after the dust has settled, mass order attacks will be in store for those orders not luck enough to be on a side not powerful enough to defend from such attacks. Already have I seen attacks like these on strategic fortress locations. Just my limited thoughts on this... |

I also have to go with Maddog and Crimson.
Who do you think will be able to capture those camps? Look out the strongest orders and the top players, and there's the answers. I think adding camps like this should be followed up with some specific rules, it should not be opened to everyone. I'll go with this example. The first day, only people with a city (no merc camps and the person needed to have that city captured before the camp spawned) 10 tiles from the new camp can attack it, the second day, it's now 20 tiles, the third day 30 tiles, the fourth day, 40 tiles, the fifth day, 50 tiles (or an entire valley for a server like bohemia), the sixth day, 100 tiles (or +1/-1 valley for a server like bohemia) and the seventh day, it's now open for everyone. |

That's true aswell. At least for pvp servers, as Hakushi pointed out. I like the idea of a unit that pushes the balance back to ranged fight, I've been under the impression that melee cavalry has become too strong recently. But such an important balancing unit should be a "normal" mercenary or maybe even a population unit. |

I have a proposal for the organizers.
A limit of 20 or 25 members in order to increase the points of vassals of an order and then there will be balance. if there will be no way to "buy" this new unit mercenaria, place new fields, balance orders and let it kill the new mercenary units. Balancing the urgent need game. We need action. We need equality. Equibre orders I am in favor of limiting the numbers of members per order. |
