Why is it taking over 200 hours to get to another city with my army

There are many things that can influence your travel time. What is the distance that needs to be covered? Do your Heroes have any movement skills? Do you have any artifacts to speed up your army? Is there any siege equipment in your army, such as trebuchets? Did you tell your army to travel slower on the movement screen?

There is a limit to how slow a normal army will travel, and 200 hours far exceeds that time. I'd gander that 1 week, 168 hours, is the farthest your can push a normal army to go slow. Beyond that, only a trebuchet can exceed the threshold.
