Dear players, we are happy to announce a new server with a mysterious and romantic Gaelic name – Albion. Most of you, by now, have noticed that the sever name implies the ancient term given to the British Isles. Albion is an ancient name of Great Britain, which was used as far back as Aristotle’s time. Greeks and Romans borrowed this term from Celts, which means “mountainous island” (from the Celtic word Albainn). In historical Latin documents and compositions from the middle ages, the word Albion is used synonymously to Britain. Political Map Map of Britannia server, which was changed significantly, serves as a foundation to the world of Albion. Firstly, the size of the valley itself has increased four times, from a total area of a million tiles, up to a huge 4 000 000 tiles, which gives a lot of space for exploration of new locations and unoccupied lands. We have to point out right away, that this new feature will have consequences on both the political situation in the world, and the strategic aspect of the game. It will be much harder to control larger lands, and will require teamwork from the players to communicate efficiently which, in turn, will lead to different strategies developing. Secondly, the contents of the map itself were changed too – now players have access to a large part of Normandy and a small piece of Norwegian peninsula. These changes allowed increasing the initial lands belonging to kingdoms of England, Alliance of Lords, and Norway, as well as highlighting the importance of naval campaigns in the region. Extra care was taken when designing the terrain of Albion and the adjacent lands – mountains, forest, rivers, and lakes – all of this is located in their proper locations, so that they would represent the actual place as closely as possible. Kingdoms The political situation on Albion will be the same as on Britannia server during launch. There are six sides struggling for power on the archipelago – ambitious and powerful England, loyal to the English crown and building its strength on trade Alliance of Lords, well-known for its strict temper and recently independent Scotland, disobedient Wales, continuing the aggressive naval warfare of their elders – Vikings, Norway, and slowly rising, still fragmented, but very proud Ireland. Geographical map and regions Albion, just like Britannia, is a historical server, but it does not have a plot designed for this setting, which allows the players to write the course of history as they like. The whole geographical map of the server is divided into regions and any serious political changes in the world will appear only regionally. The same way that the regions are protected by fortress to conquer any particular region on server Koryo and Skogmark, the player will need to conquer a fortress protecting the region. There are 173 regions with fortresses, which is more than three times the amount of regions on Koryo server! And, finally, the most important changes that will start exclusively with the new Albion server! Dear players, to make 1100AD a more pleasant and easier experience, our wonderful Artists and User Interface designers have created a brand new, modern, graphical user interface. Together with the new user interface, we have also developed a new and exciting non-linear tutorial for the game, that will help both new and experienced players, which are starting to play on the new server, with the main aspects of the game, as well as answering most questions that the player might have about the game, in an easy and personal way. Discounts, bonuses, and other changes: To celebrate the launch of a new server, we are offering all Albion players the following discounts: -50% on creating their own Coat of Arms -50% on creating the order -50% on purchasing a conditionally-free hero for diamonds -50% on purchasing English Longbow men for diamonds When purchasing the “Newbie pack” for a year or more, as well as buying a “Silver subscription” for three months or more, the player will receive an authentic level 15 hero free of charge – a noble German knight. Dear Cathrine!
Pls do not hesitate to clearify the sample and system of mercenary points transactions on Albion, unless you purposely want the highly skillfull builders of multy accounts from old Britannia server waste their time in vain And pls do not forget to mention whether vassal points are separated from mercenary points |

Dear Cathrine!
Please do not hesitate to clarify that one person will buy the server, and take control of all the fortresses and divide them among his vassals and order members. Leaving everyone else playing catch up and at the mercy of the golder players. And pls do not forget to mention that having vassals will not provide anything to the Lord now. |
