I'm changing my armies around and I'm confused about the determination of which hero gets to wear the crown in each army. Do I have any input? Also, can only the crown hero use artifacts to benefit the entire army? What happens if non-crown crown wearing heroes use artifacts? Do 3 heroes with Scouting (same army) see further than one?

Yes, you can decide that, try adding the heroes to the army in a different sequence. If this answer makes you want to have an easier way to change the "leading hero", I can tell you that this has already been suggested. That's what the mouse-over of the crown says and it is mostly true. ![]() All such artifacts would be wasted, except for those that require a slot "under" the hero. Where did that question come from? ![]() ![]() - Anyway, the answer is no, as far as I know. ![]() |

Here is what I believe: If the hero is a non crown wearing hero, the additional defense bonus will apply to the hero only and not to the troops also in his command. Example, "Shield of the Rising Sun". The non crown wearing hero will get life +10 but since he does not wear a crown, the Royal guards in the same army will not get life +5. Are you saying I am off base?
