Hi! I was wondering if it was a better strategy to have your cities far or near from each other ?

To start with, I would suggest to keep your cities close to each other. later in the game, you can expand and "explore new territories" (in other words, expand to new farming territories and/or capture forts)...

For now, just follow the steps indicated in the tutorial!

I'd take them some apart and mostly in different valleys.

In crusade, I had my 5 cities in the same valley, but not to near.

Why in different valleys ?

sometimes, you can get better robbing places in other valleys, or better access to some adventure hut locations...

Yes, i found having cities close at the begining helped me. Now, I have moved all of my cities so there is some space between them. They are all in the same valley, but they all have 3-4 farms. I guess I just got lucky with my city placement. I suggest having up to 3 cities close together. After that, you should be developed enough to start spreading out.
