Dear players, we would like to hear your opinion about the following changes in the game:

1. Limiting the maximum amount of places in an order to 20 (new servers only), on the current servers the maximum amount of places in an order will be equal to amount of places in the largest order on that server (as of right now)

2. On PvP servers new way of calculating and distributing mercenary points for order members will be introduced:
a) Points received by contracts and mercenary locations will be summed up and divided equally amongst all order members.
b) Free points received from obelisks and fountains will remain on that player’s balance.

3. On PvP servers, additional bonus for mercenary points received from fountains.

With each new fountain, the base amount of points received from each fountain will increase according to the following formula:
n+n*(k*0.1-0.1)

where k is the number of fountains in all player’s cities, n is the base amount of points for the specific fountain level.

For example, the player has 2 fountains, level 1 and 2.

As a result, the player will receive 300 + 300 * (2 * 0.1 - 0.1) = 300 + 300 * 0.1 = 330 for first fountain
And the second fountain will give 950 + 950 * ( 2 * 0.1 - 0.1) = 950 + 950 * 0.1 = 1045 points.

4. On PvP servers, additional loot for destroying enemy troops will be introduced - 20% of the resources spent on the destroyed army. The resources will be added to player’s city after their army successfully comes back from the campaign.

5. Number of free heroes will change as well:
For players without subscription – 1 hero
For silver subscribers – 2 heroes
For gold subscribers – 4 heroes.

Moreover, for each city starting from 8, the number of free heroes on your upkeep gets increased by 1.
For example, you have a silver subscription package and 8 cities – you can hire 3 free heroes.

6. For every 10 000 units in one cell morale of all armies (in the same cell) will be decreased by 1%, untill 25% of morale will be left. For example, if one cell has 100 000 units then morale drops by 10% to value of 90%, if 750 000 and more units are present, then morale drops by 75% to 25% level.

I want to tell you also something about point two:
what do you think about, that I have bought 17 points for vassals, that I have bought some camps for gold???? what do you think about, that I have 17 vassals. I speak whith them, save them and teach them. It was MY time and MY money which I invest in MY account!!!!!! what do you think about, what I think, if you tell me to divide MY invested money and time whith maybe 20 people, which can give me so less ore nothing back???? Think about what you say and think about the consequence. the whole game will change. and not only on my money one will renounce. no more order will take small players.(:s27:)(:s27:)(:s27:)

i agree with madameM when we used are gold and time to get all of this stuff to gain the glory points, we where not aware we where just getting them for others, this new rule should not be put on existing servers and just on any new servers because it is unfair to every one. And to go one step further i do not think players should be saying this is a good idea if they are not on the top 100 most glory points list for there server( i am number 21 on crusader), because if you are not i think we all know why you think this is a good idea (:s8:) and it is not because you will be loosing glory points is it? (:s17:)

They want this game to change.. the entire point of the update is reduce the amount of people in orders. Telling the developers that it is bad idea will accomplish nothing unless accompanied by an alternate idea that will have the same effect (reducing number of people in orders), but will allow you to keep your hard earned merc points. We must help the developers on this if we are to keep our merc points, because as is paragraph 2 is the best option to effectively decrease order numbers. This will happen one way or another so now is the time to put in CREATIVE input.

This is a place for everyone to express their opinions. If you don't agree with my opinion then ::shrug:: doesn't bother me. I don't like number 2 for the record and I did say that in my posts. I can understand the use of this rule looking at it objectively.

I am relatively new at this game. I started this past November. In that time I have worked my butt off to gain vassals and help them grow while capturing huts and gaining more vassal points. I carry 10 heroes myself (I know its not 17 or anything crazy like that but it is a lot). If rule two was implemented I would loose A LOT of merc points, maybe not as much as you guys who have been playing for atleast a year. I understand that you would be pissed about loosing points. The whole point of this rule is that having weaker players in your order will bring you down, and have 40 players with mixed levels of dedicatation to the game will bring you down. I know if this rule came out I would want to be in an order with other dedicated members and this would not be an issue, it would be an asset. But yes, having 10-20 semi-active (:s13:) players would be 0 fun.

I dont personally like this rule for our current servers, but I can see the benefit of it. Especially on new servers.

That is MY opinion. If you don't agree with it I'm sure you will continue to tell me. Thank you. (:s11:)

we are so i would like it if you did not  try to make us feel bad bye telling us we are not doing anything. We are explaining why it should not be put in the current servers, so stop trying to insult every one that does not see eye to eye with you.

Suggestion: if you don't want the people that pay for this game to leave in mass exodus...like what happened before with canceling old vassal contracts without warning. Please give a period of time...say 1 week, to exchange the mercs that each player will lose for resources....for example, if I am going to lose 20K merc points, let me disband those mercs I wish to lose, and deposit the resources into my storehouses so I at least have not wasted the time in creating them, and I can put that towards next city point. If they are simply lost due to hunger I will not buy anymore gold, just play with free hero's. I also think there should be a timeframe where people can exchange their vassal spots for the gold they invested...if MadamM paid for 12 vassal spots with gold, then that player should be given the chance to exchange those vassal spots back to gold and spend it on something else, as the intention of purchasing said vassal spots has been altered.


If the Devs are so scared of merc points, why did they make the vassal system in the first place? have it so vassal can only send resources to Lord for library or something....and eliminate all transfer of merc points, this way you eliminate multies...no sense in creating accounts for just transferring resources..and level playing field...Game gold would go down significantly as people with smaller armies don't need as many hero's to upkeep and lead the legions.

I think however you should experiment with this by creating another server, and see how much $$$ that server generates, how many players join that server, how many stay..retention rate...you need to be very careful about implementing changes to pre existing servers where people get accustomed to rules and changing them drastically after spending so much real $$ on vassal spots to benefit others is not right.

You should not expect everyone to run their Orders how YOU think they should be run. That YOU say the order should have 15 active members that do all the battles all the time, and not 1 to 3 that do most of the fighting...each member has it's place and purpose...not everyone that joins the order need to be there for sole purpose of fighting, some have nice contours they build, or have nice hut to level up troops, some people need to leave the game for awhile and return, but this would force them to leave the Order and have no protection because Order Master can't see incoming attacks...even though that member maybe paid for the spot.

Bottom line is: Would the Devs like to be the Order Masters of all the Orders? Why don't you simply seize all the accounts like MacHeath, Ilzite, Ariadne, etc...and run the Orders as you want to do so? This is what you're doing anyways. (:s5:)

i agree with mammal we have all spent time and money building are accounts, as the rules are now and none of us expected for you to go into a already existing server and just flip the game around, i mean why do you have to put this on current servers, why not just new ones?

instead of this, devs want to add more multiacconts with their offer - if number 2 will be accepted, those who dont have a mults, will pull down the whole order's strength, so they will have to create mults as every "top player". Top player i put in blankets, because top player in the current format of the game is the one who has most mults...(:s27:)

I really hate each form of cheating and I wonder how anyone can enjoy a victory while knowing that he / she used unfair means to achieve it. (:s13:)
It could be a sign of bad education or of an excessive need for recognition.... anyway, anything possible should be done to stop cheating, in my opinion.
