Im trying to upgrade my obelisk but it takes a lot of population. I have 4 cities total and registered my main cities troops to the other cities freeing a bunch up. But all my farms are maximum level and theres no troops registered there. How can I get my population up to upgrade obelisk without having to destroy something. My other cities do not have an obelisk and also does not give me the option to build one. What do I do?

you can't. if you have well and max farms and no troops, that is max pop you can get. you must destroy or downgrade something

demolish non needed buildings...all towns offer 7650 pop, obelisk only takes 6890 pop... make do like many do. before the well was ever implemented, people still made do...you have a extra 400 pop that people back then did not have. be grateful that the well was ever implemented...

Make one of your cities strictly for the obelisk(no barracks, stables, or workshop, but build a library & tavern).
