My barracks, stables, castle, obelisk, and workshop will not let me train troops. It shows the max number of troops I can train, and it will let me manipulate it, but the button to accept training the troops is completely gone. All it is, is a big black square that you cannot click. I have more than enough population, and have way more resources than needed. This happens about once or twice a week.
I need a solution.

I also forgot to add that in my obelisk, all of the mercenaries are faded out except for slaves. Why??? I have enough glory points and ore, but yet they are still faded and cant train them. I remember when I first started playing I was able to train them but now I cant. What do I have to do to unlock them again??

Never mind. I figured it out after playing around with it a little. If you have an unlocked army you cannot train troops. You must set an aggressiveness and/or battle range in order to lock it. Then you will be able to train troops again.
The only problem im still having is obelisk mercenaries are not available for hire and I still need a resolution to this.
I probably wouldnt delete this bc other players were having the same problem. Let it linger in forums for a few days.

I doubt this is the case but it might be. to fix the problem you discribed, you should try just refreshing your browser.
obelisk mercs are different from mercs you can hire from castle. obelisk mercs require you to capture a mercenary hut to hire the and also there is a limit on the amount you can hire that each of these huts have.
camp name | glory points provided | Mercenary troop it offers |amount you can hire per hut
obelisk meres are also always available up to the max amount you can have in your army. the number you can hire should be the same as the amount in your army if they are grayed out.

no, you need obelisk to get vassal point to own merc camps (the amount you can capture is the # of vassal points you have + 1)[does not take up a vassal point, its just part of calculation]

opera works EXTREMELY well also. I switched from IE and the game runs so much smoother. opera is the #1 engine with the least viruses in the world. Give it a shot and youll love it.

I find that very hard to believe not because I know another browser has the least viruses but because a statistic like that is very ambiguous and I frown upon free products that boasts about ambiguous statistics...
