i think that they are just something to fight with. Because they are not ment to explore things

Used for sight and scouting towns. They have 3 sight while most other troops have 1 or 2. The only way to see farther then 3 squares is to get a hero with master scouting skill.
As in explore a city before you send you army? Then yes. And they are not used for combat... They fall like flies.

Send them to a city then make them look all around the city to see whats in it...

You need them combined with your ranged troops (if you don't have a hero with the right skills availible) for sight. And you can use them to get information over city's/troops. They are useless as a fighting unit, so you don't need large amounts. (if your tactics are right)

Hi crimson, thanks a lot for answering me... but I still haven't understoud how....
I mean.. I made an army only of scouts.. than I set low attack reaction for this army.. than I send them as campaing on monster caves.. but they where attaccked ..and obviously they died all..
so I thougt I made something wrong..
Which is the correct way to send scouts in exploring mode ??

there is no "exploring" mode. all units can be targeted and killed, no such thing as a invisible troops. if the troops you are encountering are melee then maybe you can out run them with your scouts to explore, all exploring is done by your eyes, not only by the scouting troop in question.

U mean that I have to move troops into the caty - caves- castle.. I guess...
is it right ?

if you want to explore that section then yes. but as I said, exploring is done by your eyes, there is no "report" telling you what it is or what lvl it is at or etc...
