so i just got in a monster cave right now and i dont know how to capture it. can any one tell me how.
oh and do i need any kind of city controll point because i think i dont i think all i need is a hero and a Mercenary Camp Point. am i right and can any one answer me

You can't capture monster caves. If you explore the center with a hero you can get a prize. Capturable huts are slave market, barbarian fort, templar castle and teutonic castle

in politics tab, push order, it brings you to the order page. must have 1000 gold to make order. (but i think can be used for upgrades once order is established)
