Town capturing. Library.
I want to capture one more town
To expand owned territories , knowledge is needed and owned towns information store. Therefore, to get an opportunity to capture a town and an opportunity to control it, player first needs to spend resources on learning, creating and
systematizing current owned towns information archive.
Most effectively (without extra loss of resources) library works on 10 level. Otherwise, with each unconstructed level of library you will have to spend 10% more resources.
Spend resources in library till you increase count of towns you can possibly control, from 1 to 2 and so on.
In library it is written that i can control 1 town. Why when trying to capture a new town i get messaged "Not enough control points"?
Because one town you are already controling - your own. To capture a new town your control points count should be more than already owned town count.
What happens if i demolish my library or loose city with the library?
Spent resources and city control points are kept with leader (hero), therefore demolishing or capturing a library won't influence control city points count.
How to capture a new town?
Let's suppose, that you have one town, you already built a library and got second level in it (second city control point).
Now you are observing the valley, find right city and send an army there, together with your leader. Suppose, in the town your army kills all enemies and gets to the castle. To capture town you should start town capturing process. This can be done only by selected army containing leader, pressing on the castle, you will get a window with commands icons, icon of capture looks like castle in a circle. As soon as you choose capture, army with the leader will come close to the castle and will capture it for 24 hours (this time is always the same and now is not influenced by anything). Afte this time is passed. if the leader won't die from enemies hands, the town will become yours.
Here there is an important moment of game mechanics – army, which is set on the town capturing, can't do anything else, neither participate in a fight, nor react on enemy's attack but in the same time will get damage from these possible attacks. This way, such army should be covered by other or even a few free armies, otherwise enemy will easily kill your leader and capture will stop right away.
On the current moment there is a rule - if the army that is capturing a town is not covered and gets attacked, it reacts on the attack from outside, capture stops and begins again, after the enemy is dead, capture time counting starts from the beginning though, same 24 hours.
How to rename captured town/castle?
Same as your own town, by clicking on the band with town name.
Question on library. What means 100% embedding and what means "For the next level 37500 required"?
100% embedding - this is when library is 10 level, meaning, that resources are spent without loss. On the previous levels embedding is less than 100%, meaning that part of spent resources will be lost due to low library level.
37500 - obviously, that this amount of resources of each type should be embedded in the library, to get next city control point.
Can i start capturing a town before, and meanwhile get next level in the library?
No, trying to capture a town you will get a message about not having enough city control points.
You can come to the city before having enough city control points but capture you can start only when needed count of points is reached.
