Points can be made bigger by training troops, building and capturing citys. Different troops give you more points and the more troops you train will the more points gathered. Also points can no way be lost. It represents nothing to do with army size.

Points are the same thing as raing. They can be collected by capturing a new city, training troops and building. Different troops and different buildings will give you a different amount of troops. They dont relate to the size of the players army. Also points cannot be lost.
