Hero
Heroes are very important to your army's strength. There are two types of heroes, free heroes and paying heroes.
- Paying heroes are heroes that require a certain amount of gold each day to keep them. This gold amount is developer set and is the same for all paying heroes.
- Free heroes are heroes that do not require gold for an upkeep cost to keep him. There are two types of free heroes, free hero and a conditionally free hero.
- Free heroes are heroes that will remain free, even upon death. All players have a set amount of free heroes they can have at one time.
- Conditionally free heroes are acquired by special random events or with diamonds. These heroes will become paying heroes upon their death so be wise when sending these heroes off for battle since, once they die, you must forevermore pay gold upkeep to keep them.
To distinguish between free/conditionally/paying heroes, pay good attention to their necklace they wear (this can be found in the castle under leader tab).
The number of free heroes a player can have is determined by some very simple rules:
- You automatically can have 1 free hero. You can never own less than 1 free hero.
There are two ways to increase the number of free heroes you can own at one time. buying subscriptions with either gold or diamonds and by owning more than 7 cities.
Subscriptions:
- Silver allows for 2 free heroes.
- Gold allows for 4 free heroes
- Barron package is not exactly a subscription but it does add 10 free heroes to a subscription you currently own. (i.e silver will then have 12 free heroes).
- If you lose a subscription, you lose the free hero spots that came with it and your any free heroes without a free hero spot will become paying heroes.
Towns:
- For every town you own past your 7th, you get another free hero.
- This does not include forts, camps, and mark towers.
- If you lose a town, you lose a free hero spot until you capture another town.
Paying heroes:
- You may buy additional heroes in the Tavern
- You can also purchase heroes in the Tavern from other players
Random info:
- A hero is able to equip and use Artifacts
Skills
Each level in skills requires an equal amount of skill points.
Ex: A level 1 skill requires 1 skill point, a level 2 skill requires 2 skill points (3 total), and level 3 requires 6 skill points in total.
Levels
The multiplicator is 1.3 for each hero level, starting with 169 experience points to reach the second one.
