Dear players,
today - May 24th, was a very significant day in the history of North America. Many years ago, in 1624, the third director of the New Netherlands - Peter Minuit, traded the island of Manhattan from the local Indians in exchange for different items with a total cost of 60 guilders ($ 24). According to the University of Oregon, today this sum would be equivalent to 500-700 U.S. dollars. This was a really profitable deal, considering that today the price of the lands on this island is approximately $ 49 billion.
How about you, dear players? Have you ever made a similarly profitable deal?
