I can't buy gold unless I go through Wild tangent to buy wild coins first:
Well, I don;t like this. Is there any way to get around this "Wild Tangent" method? The reason I don't like it is that I have to go through an "Exchange Rate" process to get to the amont of gold coins I want. In addition, they only have limited options for purchasing their wild coins geared to monthly subscriptions.

It is not cheap thru Wild Tangent either. Firstly, I can't just buy 1000 gold in order to get the diamond bonus, I have to go over board and buy 400 wild coins (next lowest amount is 60). 400 wild coins = $70 US. Now when going through the exchange rate 1000 Gold costs 83 wild coins. YOU CANNOT BUY 83 WILD COINS. You can get 60 or 400

You can buy 800 Wild Coins in one shot, but you have to do it through their website, the options through the Buy Gold in-game are way more limited.

I was on thr wild tangent site, http://www.wildtangent.com/WildCoins and the most I can get is 400 (gotta scroll down past the rental section, bottom left). What I really want is not to have to deal with these folks at all. I would like to buy 1000 gold, not 800 wild coins then spend 83 of them to get 1000 gold. See what I mean?

Yes I see, and I agree with you, I don't like the idea to buy a currency in order to buy another but it's the partner Ambergames decided to have a deal with for the NA players. I also don't like the very limited options of Wild Tangent but it's the only choice we have if we want to play this game.
