is it not possible to terraform on livonian.or am i doing something wrong.

'Surfaces are able to give you raw material through terraforming. Rocks give you stone, grass gives you lime, sand gives you coal, trees give you wood. You need a castle level 6 at least for this'.

It wasnt dumb question...many ppl dont know it...besides that u tried to terraform and didnt function so its cool that u ask about the things that makes problem to u...dumb questions are how to terraform or how to build, there is many questions like this and even more posts...
