How can I get more resources? I have "accepted" resources as a gift in the Kingdom Events tab, but I seem to be limited on how many resources are available to me at any one time. I would like to build a well, but I have to have about 5,000 wood available to do this. I can't seem to figure this out. Please help!

To get more ressources as a regular income, upgrade your ressource production to maximum level.
To be able to store more ressources, upgrade your storehouse or build strongboxes to further increase your capacity. A level 8 storehouse is enough to hold enough ressources for you to be able to build a well when it's full. There are a lot of different ways to get ressources in general, some of which are described here: http://1100ad.com/forum/view/32683/last#btm As a new player, you would want to max out your production buildings and storehouse, later you can go robbing in other cities, get additional income per hour from rare buildings, ... you will receive ressource gifts from time to time, there is a ressource bonus for being online for a certain amount of time, there are artifacts that grant gifts which can be ressources, you can buy ressources for diamonds, ... I'm sorry if that's confusing now, I just wanted to show ou that there are a lot of different ways to get ressources. You should concentrate on the basic ones for now. Good luck!
