After the upgrade on Bohemia, the background color of horse archers is now green.
When you hover over the unit in the castle screen, you see in the popup box a little purple icon next to the text: Horse Archer.
Now, I'd like to know if this is a mistake in the game.
Is horse archer still a cavalry unit or is it now an archery unit.
I ask this because of needed hero skill.

I would assume this change is intentional as to even the melee Vs range balance. I will check on this.

I suggest you give them the purple background because it's a lot more confusing now than it used to be.

Yes, definetly. Please do either that or actually make the horse archer an archery unit! That would be an extremely interesting incentive for new and innovative unit compositions.
