Many countries celebrate Father's Day on the third Sunday of June to honor fathers all over the world. The very idea of Father's Day was invented by Sonora Smart Dodd in distant 1909. Grateful daughter wanted to appreciate the efforts of her father, who raised six children by himself after his wife's death.
Father's Day was intended to celebrate fatherhood, but with time it become day when men are honored - men who played great role in somebody's life and became role models and symbols of truly masculine way of life - whether do they have children or no.

1100AD team arranges small contest to celebrate this day: Every player that writes a small poem for Father's Day will receive a nice little prize.
Every one of us had father, teacher, mentor or just an older friend for whom we always have words of gratitude. Now is the time to thank everyone who played significant role in our lives.

In order to receive a prize, a poem must be posted before 18 of June.
