On Koryo, I have a few vassals. I have yet to recieve any glory points from them even though I know at least one of them has an obelisk of glory. Do they have to have enough for full payment before I get any?

They probably used up all their glory points when they accepted to be your vassal. Hence, they don't have any glory points left over to give you.
Ask them to build an obelisk and upgrade them to maximum.

On Koryo, the vassal payment system is very different than any other server. The only way you can receive merc from a vassal on koryo is if that vassal has more than the normal 6890 merc from the obelisk.
So:
If the agreement is 2k merc, and the vassal has 8k total merc, you will only get 1110 merc from that vassal.

I think the point is to prevent people from simply draining their vassals by taking their mercenary points without actually helping them to grow and enjoy the game, too.
This and the fact that it makes multi-accounting for mercenary points at least a bit more difficult, is the advantage of that system.

I think it's a great system! Merc is about half, if not more, of the player's power. To be a lord, and to take away this power from their vassals is the same as oppression. To make a player weaker to rely on their protector more is the same as indentured people back in the day or debt collectors in present day.
If you actually help your vassals, you and them, will most likely benefit from the bonus.

Yes, but I find that this way vassals need to be gold players to give their lord any help, and I have started a few wars over mine and not gotten anything out of it. It makes being a lord a bit less usefull, although I understand the multi acounting point of view
