We thank you for being with us throughout the year, as well as the holidays, as we always do our best to make the game as exciting and fun as possible.
To celebrate these holidays, we will be bringing several exciting features, which consist of two parts:
First part, active today, will include gifts, discounts, and snowy games.
The second part will be active on Thursday, 27 December, and will bring you even more gifts and even more fun.

Winter Spirit

To get in this winter mood, we have added new heroes to celebrate these holidays. They will not only make your castle look prettier, but will add a holiday touch to your battles.

Sibylla of Jerusalem and Templar Knight


When purchasing a Golden subscription for three or more months, you will receive Sibylla of Jerusalem free of charge. When purchasing a Silver subscription for three or more months, you will receive Templar Knight hero free of charge.

Just like last year, all European building will be cloaked with snow. The ground, trees, and roofs of all building will be covered with fluffy white snow, since it is a must-have part of the Holidays.

Those that were with us during the Easter celebrations surely remember the “Egg battle” mini-game, and those that weren't will find out what it is now!
During the Holidays, you will be able to play the new mini-game “Snowball battle”:
The games you play will not give you anything, nor they will not take anything from you. However, for each user, we will track the number of wins, and when the Winter Holiday celebrations will end, top 10 players from each 1100AD server will receive nice rewards.
The snowballs from the mini-game “Snowball fight” can be found in quest locations. Less “strong” snowballs can be crafted in the “Smithy” building.

Gifts and Lottery

Christmas Eve would not be the same without the Christmas tree. And the Christmas tree is just not the same if it has no gifts under it! We enjoy our holidays and celebrations as much as we like to give out gifts, that's why each city will have its own Christmas tree which will give you a nice prize every day for the duration of the celebration.
Resources, heroes, artifacts, diamonds, and much more awaits you under this magical tree. Visit it regularly and enjoy the gifts you get!

Also, you will get gifts in our already traditional Christmas Lottery. Everyone can participate in it to see how lucky they are. Just like last year, it is a ticket-based lottery, which means that you can purchase a ticket (or several tickets) which might be lucky and get an awesome prize.
There are three types of tickets – bronze, silver, and golden tickets. The type of ticket will determine the value of the prize and the chance to win it.

Attention! Please note that many prizes may look similar in these tickets, but that is not the case. It actually means that there is less chance to win a level 4 artifacts with a bronze ticket, than with a silver or gold ticket.
But if you think you are extremely lucky, then you can get immense riches from even a silver ticket. Try your luck, and remember, Lady Luck loves those that dare to risk it all!

We will also never forget those that are in need of love and are less lucky than others. We will continue the tradition of giving back to the community by giving gifts and joy of holidays to kids whose smile is the best gifts for us. 20% of gold invested into the lottery tickets will be donated to one of the orphanages in Riga.

Discounts

Besides all these gifts, we will also be giving nice discounts for several of our services:

80% on renaming the hero;

To make the winter season full of exciting battles and wonderful exploration of new lands, we will DOUBLE the amount of diamonds received when purchasing gold.

Return of crafted artifacts

During winter holidays, all quest locations will drop rare ingredients – Topaz, Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald, which you will need to create a unique artifact called “Ancient Frankish Crown”. It should be added that this year, you will be able to use this artifact one more time.

Please note that the use of the Ancient Frankish Crown again is only possible if you are up to 27 December 2012 have already used this artifact.
If you are going to use it for the first time after December 27, 2012, you lose the chance to wear it again

Besides the main events in-game, you will be able to participate in our events in social networks Facebook and Vkontakte.

Other updates

Beta, Crusade, Livonia, Bohemia, Holy Grail, and Aragon servers will be updated with entirely new objects for these servers – Historical cities, which will give their owners additional bonuses:
- additional population in the city;
- additional mercenary points;
- resource extraction bonus in the city.

Gift shop

Dear players, we are happy to announce the update of the year – the introduction of a Gift shop! This feature has been requested for a long time, and we have finally done it! You can now give gifts to each other, that include resources, subscriptions, paid buildings and even heroes! Give nice gifts to your friends and surprise them!

Please note:
To open the gift shop, click the diamond icon (on the right part from the main screen of the old interface, and on the bottom right in the new interface), then select the “Gifts” tab. In the appropriate field, enter the login of the player you wish to give the gift to and give them the selected gift.
