This post is about your personal opinion about which troop is better.
My opinion is Pikeman. They are cheap and wreak havoc on cavalry.Most battles I have been in,the swordsmen have a higher casualty rate.

As meat:
Swords are better with ranged units
Pikes are better with melee units
they both are good and bad in their own little ways...

I dont see a lot of ranged troops where I go.I guess it's about where you choose to go.

Correct...What is your fighting style? That is a important question you must ask yourself. Also, how will your opponent fight? You must think about all of this. It is not just a simple game as it appears to be. Much knowledge needs to be gained to understand the game. when you understand the game, knowledge becomes your weapon!
