Little confused here. I set up a few cities to subsequently discard and rob. Now, some cities (which I did not set up personally) have yields exceeding 29900 resources. Some cities which I set up only yield around 26000 resources. I maxed the farms and the storehouse. Is there something I'm not doing during the building stage? I even set up the cache. (:s31:)

Think about what that building does for a moment...if you are setting up a place to discard then rob, that building will hide some resources from your robbing group.

Next, make sure to max out castle, it too stores resources (max: 300)

total resources you can store: 30200 (each)

Not the case, castle is maxed and resource producers are as well )Library, tavern, market place, etc)

Did you miss the most important part?

I get that, but you still have not answered the question. Why the disparity?

In fact, crimson did answer your question!

That's the answer.
The cache hides 3850 of the ressources that are in the storehouse! The cities that you did not set up probably don't have a cache and that's why they give the maximum amount.

The primary question is why do some farms yield more than 29900 and other farms yield approx 26000 resources, yet they are both apparently built the same. Now the resource producers are maxed, the castles are maxed, the farms are maxed and the cities are generally identical. Cache or no cache. I even have libraries and taverns in the cities, yet the yield is short 5k resources for no apparent reason. This is the question.

Cache or no cache.

If you are attack a town, there are two buildings that are invisable to the attacker, the rally point and the cache. Are you 100% sure that there is no cache at these locations?

If the city is active, maybe they are being taxed?

As far as I can tell, all resource extraction buildings do not change in their appearance from lvl to lvl so without building one yourself, you will not know the lvl of the resource extraction..

libraries and taverns do nothing (if anything else, are a requirement for the castle I think). Are you robbing with the same amount of troops (the more troops you rob with, the faster you rob which lowers your final amount.)

Here's the funny part. It is the cities which I have built up myself which are short in their yield, not the cities I have only come to know by robbing.

maybe you are robbing too fast?

How did you made fro cities to rob places? Did you conquered cities and then you drop them? And if you did that like I said, how you can drop cities?

yes, click on the town name (remember how you renamed your cities?). The option to abandon the city is just under the renaming form box.

That's great. I never used this option. I didn't know anything about it. Now I will grow very faster. Thanks to all.(:s9:)
