I've just read another thread about how walls might be useless on this server and I'm confused.
Are they useless? do I just put them in the corners or should I plug that huge gap at the bottom of my village?
Also how do I position troops on top of them?

darivwhy don't you check some screenshots on how people position their walls? Me i put walls blocking the city gates (cardinal directions) and also blocking the castle. Some people just use the walls to surround their whole city and use gates for their lords or allies or vassals to go through. Read this in the 1100 wiki ok? its a big help

Well aragon is NON tactical server, so You actually don't get to make troops climb walls. The game actually makes infantry units to scale walls automatically. It takes time but it happens, so really, there's no point in having walls; unless of course you are a hard core player who checks his/her account every 10-20 min, through out each day!!! So you can send reinforcements to thwart an enemy siege or raiding party.

darivwell no watchtowers are for your army sight range but if its aragon which is a no tactic server then its probably not worth it. But still build your building stragetically and you should be find. Follow the tutorial
