I searched about in the forums and did not locate anything about this topic. I have a city with an obelisk. I already suicided 500 carts and a bunch of troops to maximize my population count in order to construct a level 10 obelisk. No matter what I try I come up just shy by about 400 population. Is there any way to increase the population beyond what 20 maxxed out farms and a well will produce?

Second question: If I procure another city and wish to demolish my current obelisk and build a new one there what happens? Or would obtaining and developing another city then destroy all the support buildings such as barracks, workshop, stables, and towers in the city with the existing obelisk be a better solution?

I am sure some of the good folks here that have helped me in that past can shed some light on this. I am also sure that some of you have already faced this same problem.

The population is highly limited, further kingdom raise happens by taking more mercenary points (seek and conquer locations).

The post is a little old - but no, there is nothing beyond 20 level 10 farms and a well. Max population per city is 7650. Period. End of subject. Depending on walls and stuff, I sometimes have found it necessary to destroy troop buildings - barracks, workshop, stables to free the necessary population for a level 10 obelisk. And, there is little or no room for troops registered in that city. I put my temple in another city, too.
