You lost: Teutonic knight 110, Horse Archer 300, Hero 3, Hospitaller Knight 30, Scout 6, Knight Templar 30, Pikeman 1428, Ranger 300, Knight 250, Archer 300, Man-at-arms 1160, Horseman 250, Marksman 300, Norman Archer 300, Royal Guard 200, Highwayman 200, Swordsman 5099. You killed: Slave 17361, Ranger 3, Swordsman 832.
Really bad mistake to fight in abandoned mines. The rocks there are lethal to an evasive strategy and I got caught in a bad shape. Destroyed within 5 minutes. Also had 2 other defeats that same day.  Only thing that makes me feel better is that people have had worse than me |

100 archers Vs 1 scout, 7 pikemen, 8 swordsman and 1 hero..:/
It's hardly surprising that you lost 
You should get a shield first, like swordsman and pikemen, then get shooters like Rangers, so that your shield will block the enemy from shooting your shooters, so that they can shoot the enemy. If that makes sense.   |

I managed to fend one barbarian army off ,but then they piled until about 8 or 9 armies sat there.Id say about 450 approx lost the final fight.I just wasn't expecting that much barbarians.My 2 heroes and 10 knight survived,gladly. |

So you went to a barbarian settlement without any archers or generally ranged troops at all??? 
Barbarians can only harm you once they are on the same spot as your army. So what you would want to do is attack (or in the best case defeat) them, before they even reach you! Here is a suggestion for a similar expensive (population and mercenary points-wise) army that would do a lot better: - 2 heroes - 100 archers - 100 marksmen - 10 rangers - 200 swordsmen / 150 barbarians With that army, less barbarians would attack you, because you do not bring as much attack power with you. But even if it was the same amount that attacked you, if you were stading on a forest spot, you would kill most if not all defenders before they could harm you. Ranged troops (not only the ones I mentioned above, but all types of them) is the key word, as much as your heroes can support.  |
