I jst got another hero in this server. So this means I do not have to pay for him?

Go to your castle and look at your heros. There is an icon that tells you if they are free or not. Chances are, once that extra hero dies you will have to pay for him

This is not correct. This has happened to me also. Every time I am offered a Hero I am not charged the 5 gold upkeep. Not even when they die. They are completely free for you to use/sell whatever. I have a total of 4 Hero's right now and Im not paying for a single one. Just accept the hero and enjoy

you got that hero from a kingdom event, Frog21495 never specified were he got his extra hero.
if you have 2 free heroes and on of them dies, then you must pay up keep if you revive him.

I got from kinhdom event. So now I have a level 8 and level 3 Hero. I guess I don't want them to die lol
