This is incorrect , time does pass while you are not logged in. I play multiple servers and schedule all my builds while I'm playing other boards. When I come back they're always done!

correct. The only time when time does not pass is when the server is offline.

jonnathunall strategy games are like that, live with it. i've seen ones that have buildings that take days to build. At first, things are boring, but after a month, and your 2nd city, things get exciting and alot faster
