Once i learn if the server will be perm, and not removed in the near future is only when i will spend gold on this server

The server is permanent. Beta status of this server means that some combat aspects might change somehow, plus there are some things like scouting, combat report per-round view and so on not yet implemented.
I think the best option would be to try for a few weeks (newbie protection is currently switched off) to understand whatever no-tactics mode suits you or not.
