Who is leader (hero) and what is it purpose?
Leader – is a fighting unit, which besides the possibility to fight, gives bonuses depending on its skills, to all units of the army where he is himself.
When army, which has a leader in it, kills units of the enemy, leader gets experience. When got certain experience value, hero level is increased and hero receives free points which can be set for skills raise.
Take care of your leader, in case of his death in a fight, he looses all his experience on current level.
Free leader is choosen in the castle, also there you can watch him growing and assign (choose) skills. But extra heroes can also be hired in tavern for gold on different purposes. Keeping such hero also costs money, 5 gold per day. Keep in mind, that hired hero will automatically die if not get its 5 gold per day.
Having a few hero makes hero skills growing more difficult, because if there are few heroes in one army, experience they get in fights will be divided(shared by all) between all of them.
Only heroes have special opportunities such as besiege castles of enemies towns, capture new towns, explore quest locations and receive bonuses or experience.
Heroes deaths and resurrections
- after death hero can be resurrected only after 15 minutes
- if hero is the only one and free - you can resurrect him for free in the castle
- if you do not want to lose points that hero received between levels - you should build temple up to 5 level, for 100 of gold you can resurrect hero without loosing his experience.
- if hero is for pay - resurrection is also for pay
- in the beginning you are given one hero and it is for free
- on the new 2010 year each was given another free hero, sister Margharita, she is for free until she dies.
- if she is killed, her resurrection is for pay and her future keeping costs 5 gold per day.
- if there is no gold on your count, hero dies and resurrection is for pay.
- if hero is not resurrected within 7 days, it disappears, best disappeared heroes go to auction, where they can be bought by other players.
- when you put your hero on auction it automatically dies
Do bonuses of different heroes sum up?
Bonuses from different skills of a few leaders will influence army like bonuses from different skills of one leader, i.e they sum up.
Bonuses of the same skills of different leaders will sum up in some nonlinear formula. Approximately, if bonus of some skill of first leader will work with whole 100%, then the same bonus of another hero skill will be used on 60%, third leader with same skill bonus - 20%, if there are more leaders with the same skill bonus, their bonus won't be counted at all.
What skills does a hero have and what do they give?
Hero skills give bonuses to all units of the army where he (hero) is.
Alltogether there are three levels for each skill, that give (approximately) bonuses:

- Стрельба – увеличивает урон всех стрелков в армии героя.
- Рукопашная – увеличивает урон в ближнем бою мечников, копейщиков, наемников, элитных стражников.
- Всадники - увеличивает урон в бою всех конных юнитов.
- Баллистика – увеличивает урон механизмов - катапульт, таранов и баллист в армии героя.
- Лечение - возвращает к жизни убитых юнитов:
- Новичок - от 0 до 5,
- Эксперт - от 0 до 15,
- Мастер - от 0 до 20,
Нужно учесть, что лечатся только войска, построенные в казармах, мастерских, и конюшнях, не наёмники. Лечение происходит при выходе армии из чужого города, возвращении в город, где есть свободное население.
Каким образом плюсуются умения героев?
Суммирование бонусов не линейное, каждый следующий герой будет давать все меньше и меньше. Если в одной армии четыре или больше героев с одинаковым навыком, то бонус по этому навыку дадут только первые три героя.
Приведу пример: в армии есть два героя - А и Б.
У героя А развит навык стрельбы - мастер, то есть урон, наносимый лучниками в армии, возглавляемой героем, увеличивается на 45%.
Если у героя Б, в той же армии навык стрельбы - новичок, то есть 10%, то от его навыка берётся лишь 60% - прирост в данном случае получится 6%. Суммарный урон возрастёт на 45+6=51%.
Если герой Б эксперт по стрельбе - 25% от этой цифры оставляем только 60 процентов это - 15%, и общий урон уже 45+15=60%.
Имеем два героя-мастера стрельбы 45+27 в итоге даст 72% плюсом к урону лучников.
У третьего героя будет считаться уже 20% от его навыков, и если мы имеем три героя с мастером стрельбы прирост на максимуме составит 45+27+9=81%
Четвёртому герою в этой армии уже нет смысла развивать навык стрельбы.
Цифры приблизительны, надо помнить, что максимальный урон не наносится никогда, есть ещё поправки на удачу, промахи, и т.д. В данный момент существует вероятность того, что могут складываться умения следующим образом: не мастер + новичок 45+10*0.6 = 51%, а новичок + мастер 10+45*0.6 = 37% всё зависит от порядка, в котором будут считаться герои
